About

Izzy is a 23-year-old dressage rider from Sevenoaks, Kent. Combining riding and working full-time as an Accountant.
Izzy has always had a love for horses, riding at the local riding school and borrowing friends ponies whenever she could. She got her first pony, a 12.2hh pony club loan pony called Kizzy, when she was 12. She became involved in pony club dressage for the West Kent Meopham branch, progressing up the levels, including competing at the pony club championships a total of 4 times, including winning her arena at the 2012 Intermediate dressage championships on her pony Millfields Flight (Brett).
Shortly after she was lucky to get the ride on a FEI pony called Lys De Monsieur (Harry) owned by Becki Vinter. This was their only year in ponies but she got on the BD national pony squad and competed in the pony FEI classes that summer.

After a long search, across both England and the Netherlands, Izzy found her next partner, Taijdora (Dora). Dora was an extremely talented horse, and together they got onto the GB junior potential squad, won the medium young rider championship at the 2015 BYRDS Home International and qualified for the winter championships 3 times. Unfortunately Dora sustained an injury at the end of  2015, and the difficult decision was made to retire her. However she is now enjoying her retirement at home and has produced a lovely filly.

Shortly after, Izzy was very lucky to then get the ride on a very talented stallion, Vincente II (Vinnie) owned by Coral Ingham. Although it took them a while to become a partnership, they have climbed the levels, completing their first under 25's Grand Prix in August 2018. They are part of the young professional's quadrille which has performed at Hickstead CDI and the BD nationals. In 2018 Izzy also became the Bedmax Young Scholar of the year.

The 2019 Season, was amazing with a few special highlights,  In April 2019 Izzy and Vinnie became the Petplan Silver Inter II National Champions and also came 3rd in the Inter I Championships! In August 2019 They competed at Hickstead International CDI in the U25's GP classes and came 5th and 3rd in the two classes.is very lucky to have a great supportive team behind her.
